Set up your authenticator

For an existing account without a usable authenticator, the Ubuntu server administrator must issue a single-use recovery token locally. This does not disable MFA.

Ask a trusted Ubuntu server administrator to issue a one-time recovery token. It expires after 10 minutes and works only once.
